Running is one of my favorite things to do. On a perfect day I can go seven miles and a good feeling to end. If the outside temperature, but heat drains the life out of me. It also increases the risk of heatstroke.
When it is hot a few simple precautions to keep your body temperature.
The coldest time of day is most likely in the morning. So get up early, just before sunrise, and then you get your race. Even at night, the ground is still generating more heat. Especially on the asphalt.
If you have a park or another place with paths that use the shade to stay in the sun.
Wear lightweight fabrics allow perspiration to evaporate. I like technical fabrics that are available, the gap of the wick body moisture.
Slowing your pace, and it is not expected, would go as far as usual.
You drink before, during and after your run. I usually one or two glasses of water before my departure. While running, I’ll take a few sips every ten to fifteen minutes. Then, a few drinks, after I did so well.
Take breaks during your run. Nobody says you have to go all the way at once. Run a few minutes, then walk one or two minutes.
Where can I run I usually am happy that there are a series of wells on the road. Sometimes I stop and hold my arms and splashing my face. After that I have some time to make his way through the sprinklers at the local university and get a spray on them.
In addition, use sunscreen, wear a visor or cap and sunglasses. Take steps to keep your body cool when the heat is on.
