One of the ex-politicians who live within the same village as I do has been well known in public service to be everyone’s man. It sounds dodgy though, because he is indeed an old man – but he ain’t dirty! After his exit from politics, he lived a normal life within the peaceful neighborhood. He has received free landscaping for his lawn by a neighbor who owns a company doing the same. Old ladies in the neighborhood would bring him home baked goodies and he would receive lots of presents during his birthday and the Christmas season too.
Despite his widespread prominence out of being a philanthropist, he was too easygoing and thought that not a single soul will do him and his home any harm because it was his turf. The break-in of his home which almost turned into a vicious attack led everyone to believe that not even a saint is safe enough to live in today’s world.
Security systems were deemed unnecessary to him before, but this particular incident led him to making sure his home had the most advanced Wireless Security Systems available in the market.
